My story

If you made it this far, I appreciate your time, and let’s connect to hear your story.

I come from a nontraditional background. I first attended military school, which taught me discipline and responsibility and then studied Economics at the University of Toronto. I ended up in finance, chasing money, but it didn’t feel right.

Searching for my ikigai, I was inspired by Steve Jobs’ advice to “keep looking, never settle.” I have no regrets about my choices; finding design was the best decision of my life. I moved to Umeå, Sweden, to study design and fell in love with the process.

During my transition, I took on various jobs and networked passionately, which led me to discover industrial and interaction design. I chose this path intentionally because it aligns with who I am.

I aspire to be a lifelong learner, drawing inspiration from all areas of life—music, art, travel, and nature. Design is pleasurable and addictive; it improves lives and communities. I document my ideas and sketches, recognizing the power of design to make a difference.

While I cherish my ikigai, I remind myself not to take it too seriously. It’s easy to get lost in my passion, but that’s okay!
